    You can claim at any participating Lottery shop may claim these prizes by submitting an original winning ticket.

    To claim winnings on tickets from any game earning more than $5,000, you must be claimed at the lottery office by submit your original tickets.

  • Prize above $510,000

    Jackpot prizes for the Lotto, Powerball, and Mega Millions, as well as any Powerball or Mega Millions prize above $510,000, must be collected at the lottery's main office.

  • To claim by mail send all the below requirements to the mailing address below.

  • On the back of the winning ticket, sign and complete the necessary information, ensuring that all barcodes are clearly visible.

  • Photocopy of the front and back of the ticket

  • Complete the Louisiana Lottery Prize Claim Form ensuring that it contains your telephone number and mailing address.

  • Photocopy of valid driver's license

  • Players using this new option to send in claims are encouraged to keep their original tickets in case there is a delivery problem.
  • In addition, if there is a doubt about the claim, the Lottery maintains the right to demand an original ticket. The original of a winning ticket is no longer accepted for prize payment if a prize has been paid on a photocopy ticket. Winning tickets can only be claimed once.
