New Jersey Lottery Now Allows Mobile Claims for $600 to $10,000

From the LotteryCorner archive. Details may no longer be current.

New Jersey Lottery players can now claim prizes between $600 and $10,000 directly through their mobile phones. This latest update, announced on October 30, 2025, brings a major convenience upgrade for players across the state. The lottery officials said they want to make claiming similar to how people already deposit checks using their mobile banking apps.

How Mobile Claim Works

When a player scans their ticket inside the official NJ Lottery App, they will see the "Mobile Claim" option automatically whenever the winning amount falls between $600 and $10,000. The app will then guide the player step-by-step in submitting the claim digitally and receiving the payout.

Other ways New Jersey players can still claim lottery prizes

If someone does not want to use the mobile option, they can claim in multiple traditional ways:

Players can fill out claim forms at any NJ Lottery retailer

Players can download the official NJ Lottery claim form directly here:

They can mail completed forms plus the winning tickets to the NJ Lottery Claim Center (Trenton).

They can drop off tickets and claim forms in person at the Lawrence Park Complex office (secure drop box available).

For jackpot prizes and secondary prizes $20,000 or above, players must call ahead and schedule an appointment.
