Two Morris County Tickets Share $4.9 Million NJ Pick-6 Jackpot!

The New Jersey Lottery announced double the winners for the Monday, May 13th Pick-6 drawing. Two lucky tickets, both purchased at Mill Lane Tavern in Rockaway, Morris County, matched all six winning numbers, splitting the $4.9 million jackpot.

Double Win for Morris County

The identity of the winners remains unknown, sparking speculation about whether a single player purchased both tickets or if two separate individuals shared the lucky streak.

Mill Lane Tavern, the retailer that sold both winning tickets, receives a double windfall. New Jersey Lottery protocol awards a $10,000 bonus to retailers for each winning jackpot ticket sold.

Winning Numbers and Next Drawing

The winning numbers for the May 13th drawing were 2, 3, 4, 12, 20, and 26. Interestingly, all numbers drawn fell under 30, which historically leads to more winners for matching fewer numbers. In this case, 18 players matched five out of six numbers, with some multiplying their prizes due to the "Double Play" add-on.

The Pick-6 jackpot will reset to $2 million for the next drawing scheduled for Thursday, May 16th.
